Our group classes provide a safe and judgment-free zone to spend time and learn with peers, giving students a chance to make new friends, refine social skills, and build tolerance to environmental variations.
Students attend each class with a parent or support partner. Our group class membership is a package that includes one Art class and one Lessons & Letterboard class per month for a low monthly membership fee.
Lessons & Letterboard group classes alternate between Travel the World and science lessons. Travel the World explores a different country each time, where students learn about the culture, customs, language, food, and music. We also watch short videos, play games, make crafts, and even sample some traditional food from that country.
Science class covers a variety of topics that include fun facts, experiments, and interactive games.
Lessons provide valuable opportunities for parents or support partners to learn basic letterboarding knowledge to use both inside the classroom and at home. Starting here builds your confidence and knowledge as a communication partner!
During art class, our students become the artists while socializing with peers and creating works inspired by masters of art history. Each piece is crafted using various mediums and textures for exploration and enjoyment. Parents or support partners also have a fun, interactive experience with their students and other parents!
Each student will complete a project to take home by the end of the class period. All supplies are included!
